ND SBDC welcomes Alan Gohary as new Business Advisor for Minot region

MINOT, N.D. – The North Dakota Small Business Development Centers (ND SBDC) is excited to announce the addition of Alan Gohary as the new Business Advisor for the Minot Center. In his role, Alan will provide crucial support to entrepreneurs and small businesses across the Minot region, helping them navigate challenges, enhance their operations and achieve long-term success.

Tiffany Ford, State Director of the ND SBDC, expressed her enthusiasm for Gohary’s arrival, stating, “We are excited to welcome Alan to the Minot SBDC team. With extensive experience in other SBDC programs and a strong background as a business owner, Alan brings valuable expertise and insight into our work with small businesses. His unique perspective, having navigated both sides of business development, will be instrumental in helping our clients overcome challenges, seize new opportunities, and ultimately grow their businesses. We look forward to the positive impact Alan will have on the entrepreneurs and communities he serves.”

Gohary joins the ND SBDC with more than 20 years of experience in supporting small businesses. He began his journey with SBDC’s in 2003 as a Business Consultant and QuickBooks ProAdvisor in California, advancing to the role of Assistant Program Director. Most recently, Alan served as the Regional Director for the Great Falls Montana SBDC. His educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration, as well as holding a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, the Certified Accredited Small Business Consultant designation, and he is a Certified GrowthWheel Advisor. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership.

Gohary’s diverse experience and strong commitment to entrepreneurship make him a valuable asset to businesses in the Minot region. His background uniquely positions him to offer personalized, results-driven guidance to help businesses thrive in today’s competitive market.

Gohary shared his excitement about joining the team, stating, “I’m honored to be part of the ND SBDC and to support the vibrant small business community in Minot. Being a business owner myself and having worked with business owners in various capacities throughout my career, I understand the challenges they face and the perseverance it takes to succeed. I look forward to partnering with local entrepreneurs to help them navigate these challenges and achieve their goals.”
